ABOUT THE TEAM
  • Our New game division’s mission is to create new hit hybrid casual music games that make interacting with music fun and a part of everyone's daily life.
  • This division is responsible for coming up with ideas, developing new games through in-house game development or collaboration with partners, then publishing and continuously improving the marketability and product performance of the games until they meet the company benchmarks for transferring to operation phases.


WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Game Design Leadership:
  • Own the design of core gameplay mechanics, game systems, and progression loops for hybrid casual games.
  • Lead the creation of detailed game design documents, specifications, and prototypes.
  • Ensure all designs align with the game’s vision, audience, and monetization strategy.
  • Player Engagement:
  • Design engaging gameplay loops and features that maximize retention and player satisfaction.
  • Develop customization and stat-based systems that enhance player progression and replayability.
  • Collaborate with the LiveOps team to design events and updates that keep the player base engaged.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Product Owners, developers, artists, and QA teams to implement and iterate on game features.
  • Act as a mentor to Junior Game Designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their growth and success.
  • Market Awareness & Innovation:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor games, and player feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Drive innovation by proposing new mechanics, features, or systems tailored to hybrid casual audiences.
  • Data-Driven Design:
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to evaluate feature performance and make data-informed design decisions.
  • Design and oversee A/B tests to optimize gameplay mechanics and monetization features.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience in game design, with at least 2 years working on mobile or hybrid casual games.
  • Proven ability to design engaging core gameplay loops, progression systems, and monetization features.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with experience creating detailed design documents.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid casual games, their audience, and what makes them successful.


NICE TO HAVE
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms and data-driven design.
  • Expertise in designing customization and stat-based progression systems.
  • Understanding of LiveOps strategies and event design for hybrid casual games.
